The mission of the Health Center’s Adult Day Care is to provide services to enable families to continue to care for their loved ones at home, in hope that such support will delay or avoid the need for institutionalization.

Adult Day Care services are provided at sites in Waianae, Pearl City and Alewa Heights for adults, 18 years and older, in need of protection, supervision and/or socialization.

Day care services provide the supervision and social stimulation needed to reduce the number of elderly who require long term care institutionalization and to increase the number of elderly that can remain at home with their families.

Services are provided Monday through Friday at all locations with weekend and holiday services available at the Pearl City location only. Services are provided in a home-like setting and includes meals and snacks, and activities such as exercise, arts and crafts, music, games, etc.
