MEDICAL   PERSONNEL
Licensed Clinical
Social Worker
Full-Time
This position is expected to provide counseling (individual and group) and case management services to clients in treatment at Malama Recovery Services and in Behavioral Health.
Requirements:
1.  Master’s degree in social work from an accredited social work program and current social work license (LCSW) required.
2.  One year experience providing substance abuse counseling, screening, assessment, and intake. CSAC preferred but not required.
3.  Experience and competency in counseling skills and in substance abuse.
4.  Direct service experience with the target population, including patient care and follow-up, psychosocial counseling and case management.

 
Case Manager
Full-Time
The person in this position is expected to provide specific activities within their department including: case management, outreach and education, enrollment assistance and follow-up for eligible individuals interested in applying for entitlements, participates in special activities of the Department.
Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in a health / human services field with 2 yrs experience; LPN or MA with 3 yrs of experience in the community. BLS / CPR Certification. current Hawaii State Driver’s License and daily access to an automobile are required. Experience in working within the community, its’ residents, health and human service agencies and providers. Competency in counseling skills and in community outreach work. Direct services experience with the target population, including patient care and follow-up, psychosocial counseling and case management. This position may be required to work flexible hours.

 
Medical Laboratory Technician
Part or Full-Time
M-F 1300-2100
MLT (ASCP) generalist with Hawaii State license.  Experience preferred, but willing to train for: QA, QC, PM, competency, compliance, LIS interface, EMR, stats, bacti, billing, & assist Director with special projects.  50/50 bench & administrative.

Radiology Director
Full-Time
Oversee all essential functions of the Radiology Department, including the direct supervision of radiology technological and clerical support staff. Maintain cognizance between Health Center Administration and Radiology Department systems.  High school graduate or equivalent.  Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA- approved school.  Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART).  Hawaii licensed required.  Certificate and Management training required for employment.

 
Physician Assistant
Certified PA needed to work in Emergency Room Department.  Hawaii License required.

 
Dental Office Manager
Full-Time
Plans and oversees all administrative and clinical support for a multi-provider office.  Performs tasks which require advanced skills in four handed dentistry, personnel management, dental operations, and fiscal planning.

Clinical Dietitian
Part-Time
(20hrs / wk)
Provide medical nutrition therapy as well as curriculum development and program management for disease management programs, professional / auxiliary health personnel, and community groups and patients.
Requirements:  Registered Dietitian (with current CDR Registration from the American Dietetic Association); Master’s degree in nutrition (including of supplemented by public health courses, from an accredited college or university) preferred.  Experience in health services for pediatric, perinatal and or chronically ill patients desirable. Ability to work flexible hours.

Director of Development

Seeking an energetic person who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families to join the growing Development Office. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field with 3+ years of fundraising or equivalent experience in private sector sales or marketing. Master's degree preferred. Knowledge in marketing, communications, and fund-raising techniques; working with volunteers and proposal development.

Assistant Director of Development
Full-Time
Seeking a creative and energetic professional to implement fundraising activities for the growing and successful Development Office. As a key member of the development team, this position will work closely with the Director of Development , Board of Directors, Associate Director and Chief Executive Officer to build a comprehensive development program with a focus on major gifts, donor cultivation, donor stewardship and new prospect development. The work will include maintaining a personal portfolio of major donor prospect, identifying and evaluating giving potential, developing cultivation and solicitation strategies and arranging both on and off-site meetings and cultivation/recognition events. This position will also be expected to enlist and motivate volunteers, coordinate fundraising activities and prospect management, utilize established systems for tacking and recording prospect and donor related activity, and ensure strong donor relations by monitoring and participating in stewardship activities.
Desirable Qualifications: Ability to work with minimal supervision, an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter, and the ability to relate well to a diverse audience of constituents. Previous experience cultivating, soliciting and closing gifts are preferred. Excellent interpersonal, organization, communication, and supervisory skills. Demonstrated ability to engage donors/prospects and develop relationships with corporate leaders. Solid project management skills and ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities in a focused manner. Experience working in or with Native Hawaiian and/or Native American communities.
Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, health or human services with three or more years of proven experience in a broad range of fundraising or equivalent experience in private sector sales or marketing. Master’s degree preferred. Working knowledge of marketing, promotion, and fundraising techniques for development and implementation of special events and other development activities. Proven experience in working with volunteers, proposal development, data evaluation and analysis.

(Program Manager)

Wai`anae Health Academy
Full-Time
This position is responsible for the day-to-day implementation and management of the career assessment and planning program components at the Wai`anae Health Academy that will assist students in identifying their current educational and career goals.  For those students who complete their program of study and who wish to move into employment rather than continue their education, the CS will provide linkages to existing programs that will assist them to attain employment.  Support and follow-up services will continue until they are employed.  Knowledge of the Native Hawaiian culture and lifestyles of Wai`anae preferred.  Education Requirements:  Master’s degree in an educational counseling, or related field and one year experience working in a community setting or Bachelor’s degree in educational counseling or related field and two years of experience.
